All appraisals include a printed hard copy and a computer document copy of your appraisal.

In home appraisals are available. A small charge is added for travel inside the treasure valley. Travel outside the treasure valley will be calculated depending on time and distance.

AJA charges a flat fee per item for each appraisal. This fee is based only on the time needed to perform the tests and calculations. Fees are in no way determined by the value of the jewelry.
Retail Replacement (Insurance) This is the most common type of appraisals.
Fair Market Value Appraisal For Resale (resale/secondary market).
Multiple Items after the first appraisal at a discounted cost.
Most appraisals include plotting diagram of a major center diamond of 0.75 carats or larger.

Estate and Jewelry box consultation is an hourly charge.
Gemstone Identification. Cost varies depending on size and type of stone. Unfortunately I do not appraise rough gem stones or rough diamonds.

Gem submissions to G.I.A. for grading, Identification, and laser serial number engraving. Cost depends on size and type of stone.

Exceptional gemstones or jewelry items which are time extensive to evaluate and/or require additional research and/or costs will command HIGHER RATES than those which are stated above. In such cases, proper notification will be given prior to the beginning of any appraisal work and the rate will be subject to agreement before any actual work is performed.
Asset Jewelry Appraisals L.L.C., will write jewelry appraisal updates ONLY on appraisal reports previously written by Asset Jewelry Appraisals., due to legal liabilities and professional ethics. Appraisers employed by Asset Jewelry Appraisals L.L.C., will not update appraisal reports prepared by any other individuals, jewelers, appraisers, gemologists or appraisal laboratories. These appraisals will require a new appraisal.
